Odysseus in the Calypso’s island. Day 4 from Sketchember.

She took him in when he wrecked at her home, Ogygia. The nymph Calypso spent her days weaving and observing her newest love, Odysseus. For seven years she tried to seduce him, she even offered him immortality, but the hero only thought of his homeland Ithaca, his wife Penelope, and his son Telemachus. Zeus, listening to the anguish of the survivor of Troy, forced Calypso to help him return home. She, even against her will, helped him build a raft and launched him into the sea, remaining the nymph of unrequited loves.
