Medusa - challenge 2 - Sketchember

Medusa once was a beautiful woman. Of the priestesses of the Warrior Goddess, she was the most beautiful. Her beauty was so great and enchanting that she believed she was more beautiful than Athena herself. Poseidon, delighted with the girl's attributes, violated her in the middle of the temple.
Athena, enraged by what happened, turns Medusa's beautiful hair into snakes, and transforms her delicate and charming face so terribly to see that the simple sight of turns the viewer into stone.
